Sustainability

The sustainability is in its urban design, urban ecology, river ecology, active transportation planning and green train tracks.

There is a large amount of consideration for pedestrian and bike connection, heritage building conservation, watch tower revitalization.

The project will include a promenade, connection to the existing Martin Goodman bike trail, and ecological pathways.  The designers would also like to reduce lighting pollution, increase native tree planting in the area, and implement solutions for capturing and storing rain water.
